By Toni Vang

Often, many golfers believed that their quality of game was influenced by the equipment they use. This resulted to acquisition of new ones but the game did not improve. The quality of golfing by any player is greatly influenced by the physical fitness of a player. This is what determines the ability to swing the clubs and hit the ball as expected. Introduction of golf fitness programs have been introduced to help make better players.

There are different categories of training offered to golfers of different ages. There is a senior category which are exercises meant for grown-ups and involves complex exercises. A junior class is also provided for little kids who play this games. The exercises performed in this class are quite simple and are aimed at flexing the muscles.

In the city of Ontario, CA, many sports clubs have introduced this special program in for their members. This requires all interested members to enroll for available training sessions provided by hired coaches. Normally a small fee is charged for these sessions making it convenient for many users to enroll them. Trainers employed by clubs are highly trained to ensure the exercises they teach their clients will be of importance in improving their game.

The training commences with introduction of very simple tasks. Some of the tasks involved in the early stages is walking within some estimated distance. The walk can also involve climbing up hills which is very useful in making the joints develop strength. This is mainly done as a group activity by all participants of a particular session. Squatting is also introduced where one has to carry their weight on their legs several times.

Overhead squatting is an important part of exercise that players do. This involved pulling up the body by holding a higher bar. By carrying your own weight, the hands become strong enough to support any weight that golfers carry in the fields. There are spring that are used to flex the hand muscles and joints thus making the less prone to muscle crumbs when swinging the clubs.

There is a gym session that all participants should go through. The trainer advices the correct amount of weights any player should lift depending on their physical strengths. Normally light weights are preferred since the reason for doing this is making muscles flexible and not building of huge biceps.

Aerobics workouts are also very important. This involves running for some distance every day to keep the body at preferred conditions. Some people may prefer to do bike rides over the said distance while jogging is also advisable. These are important tasks that help in maintaining an athlete body. The trainer also instructs the players on waist movement and rotation. This is crucial in making this part flexible and strong since it experiences sudden movements during play time.

Working out plays a major role in ensuring players are in good shape to participate in any competition. It is of importance to adhere to training schedules and ensure regular attendance. This will bring about the expected body fitness that is ideal for any golfer.
