Whether one rides to the top or climbs up the hundreds of stairs, this wonder of the natural world can be taken in by everyone at their own speed.

There are few speedy hikers at the nearby Springer Trail, however. There are two possible ways up Springer Mountain, one is a difficult hike and the other intermediary. So, for those who are still up for one last adventure, hiking this world-famous route at the doorway to the Appalachian Trail offers the final evening of rough camping in a beautiful mountain wilderness.
