Take An Argentina & Peru Adventure In Amazing South America

There are plenty of people who plan on a once in a lifetime dream vacation that includes historical sites, great cultural activities, restaurants and local color as well. For many Americans thinking about traveling outside the United States, that may mean considering language, financial, safety and other concerns that limit the areas they are willing to go to. Others may be willing to expand their dreams and take into consideration worldwide possibilities that can include something such as a once in a lifetime Argentina & Peru adventure trip in South America.

South America is not always the first place people think to visit when they are looking for a dream vacation, but it has many exciting and adventurous opportunities that should be considered. Argentina, for example, is one of the countries that offers great vacation destinations for any adventurous tourist. While Buenos Aires is the city that usually comes to mind when thinking of this beautiful country, there are many other attractions that should not be missed.

One of the great natural wonders on the planet is Iguazu Falls. Millions come to look and explore the hundreds of cascades and other huge waterfalls that are located here. In order to maximize the enjoyment and the spectacle, systems of crosswalks have been designed above the water.

For those who enjoy wine, the Mendoza region is a must to consider. There are hundreds of world class wineries to be enjoyed. Visitors can also take advantage of skiing, hiking, camping, and rafting opportunities available there.

If you are interested in skiing, Bariloche is a great choice if you find yourself there in the right season. During the rest of the year, visitors can enjoy the many lakes that offer boating, swimming, fishing, or just relaxing in the sun. These are just a few of many great locations to see when you make this country one of your destinations.

Peru has its own singular beauty and special must see attractions. History buffs appreciate ancient ruins that remain here and make the trip to Machu Picchu high on their vacation agenda. Although this is one of the country's most famous attractions, it certainly is not all there is to see and do. The jungle, coast, and highlands are the three main regions that make up the country. Each region has much to explore.

Adventurous visitors can take an amazing journey along the Amazon and venture into the wilds of the Peruvian jungles. Nature parks abound for hikers regardless of their experience. There are also numerous festivals throughout the year where visitors can get a taste of the country's varied culture. This country is also famous for its incredible array of wildlife. Llamas certainly come to mind, but there are also many species of birds, jungle animals, dolphins, penguins, sea lions and other aquatic animals to enjoy.

When planning a dream vacation, there are many things to take into account. Some prefer a traditional visit to an area of their county that they have not seen or to return to a special place where they been countless times. Others plan a more adventurous time and want a completely different experience. For these individuals, an Argentina & Peru adventure may be just what they are looking for.
