How To Spend Your Vacation In Playa Las Tortugas Nayarit

By Esther Salazar

You can spend your time as a volunteer in playa las tortugas nayarit helping to preserve the endangered sea turtles. Mexico's pacific cost is known to be the breeding ground of the fragile sea turtles. However with pervasive industrial development, this breeding ground is at risk of soon becoming commercial beach properties where vacationers and tourists stay.

Mexico is home to many species of sea turtles. They are used to millions of sea turtles. However, with the changing environment and the pollution brought by economic development, their numbers are dwindling every time.

There are only a few species left and they are also in great risk of extinction. That is why environmental organizations especially those that are concerned about the plight of these sea turtles are calling out to those who have a heart for these sea turtles to spare a few of their precious time. Spend time with these turtles and help them live even for just a little while longer.

Vacationers would then spend the night away in the beach partying until the break of dawn, leaving a huge pile of wastes from the night's wasting away. In the morning, you can expect to see garbage and all sorts of trash on the seashore left b last night's celebration. As much as possible, no industrial development should be allowed in the area or near the area.

They can get stepped on by stomping careless party goers especially during the night when they come in droves to the shore to hatch their eggs. Here is a little trivia for you. According to studies, sea turtles always come back to the place where they were born.

They have to make do of what humans left of them of the earth. Business minded people should just spare this area for their ambitious and selfish interest. They are rich enough to spare this one and should just give it to the sea turtles. You can volunteer to patrol the beach during the night. It is mostly during the night that sea turtles land ashore and go to their nesting places.

The eggs are then collected in boxes for incubation. You can help collect these eggs. Of course, there is an orientation given to volunteers how to handle the eggs, the baby turtles, safety measures for the volunteeers and among other important things of the activity. Many organizations are looking for volunteers. You can look up some of them on the internet.

Try to put yourself in the position of the turtles and you would know how cruel it is to strip the of their habitat. Checking with your local municipality also helps ensure that you are connecting with the right or at least legitimate organizations. So if you do not still have plans and even if you do, you can still change that, why would you not spend it guarding the area as a volunteer.

It will be a good experience for you. Something unique and you have not done yet. It is also a good opportunity for you to meet other people who chose to spend their time in playa las tortugas nayarit.
