Family Friendly Wonderful Vacations

For those people who are considering a break, whether it is a family holiday, a getaway for 2 or a honeymoon, there are few places (countries) like Cape Town in SA. In the summer season it is the best option for any sort of holiday getaway and for anyone, old and young alike, considering that the summertime period is enjoyable to everyone. In this posting we will tell you about only just some of things that you or the entire family can and will appreciate, so keep reading if you are keen.

Let's assume for a min that you are a family of four; mom, father and 2 kids, a boy (17) and girl (15). Teens are notoriously difficult to please in any circumstance. This is a certainty, nonetheless, bring them to Cape Town over the December vacation and see their conduct transform swiftly . To keep the boys satisfied , there is surfing and the beach (girls in bikinis says it all), dirt biking, paint ball, skate parks. The list is never-ending. Let's not forget the shopping malls where all the pretty girls hang around. This way mom and dad gets some shopping in while keeping the kids from their hair! Girls are easier; sunny days at the beach to display the new bikini, trawling the shopping malls too, local flea markets and more. Holidays to Cape Town is a wonderful choice to keep everyone pleased for the duration of your stay. Guaranteed!

Now that we have the young people squared away, what's left for mother and father? Well, there is the V&A waterfront where you can drop by the aquarium, have lunch at one of the remarkable bars in Cape Town like Mariners Warf, Quay Four, where by the way, mom and dad can come back at night to enjoy fantastic cuisine and live bands while sipping their favorite cocktail looking over the shimmer that transforms the V&A at nighttime. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Now let's say it's simply the two of you, and Cape Town is waiting! What do you do now? Visit the center of town and pay a visit to the Cape Gardens. There you can get bags of peanuts and feed the squirrels while walking through the lovely garden, possibly take a break and sit under a few of the original oak trees in Cape Town, or even go to the natural history gallery and learn all about the real natives from way back in the day. The gardens are also an excellent family outing.

Another beautiful, practically Eden sensation location to see, is in Kirstenbosch. There are plaques distributed all over providing you the history of the area and value of various details. It's a magnificently serene location.

And for a little bit of entertainment , why not follow the wine route? Stop off at every estate along the way and sample some of the best wines worldwide and sample the cheese plates they offer as an accompaniment.

There is simply so much to do and things to see in Cape Town, that it is impossible to put it all down in a single post. It will simply make you desire more, so make plans for a lot more Cape Town vacations!
