Wellington is the second most populated city in the country of New Zealand. The place also boasts of a multitude of restaurants, bars, and pubs that cater to food lovers and party animals alike. The city is well known for sumptuous dishes that feature both land and sea products, which makes for a really good culinary experience one must never miss. Beer and coffee is best in this city as well.

The city does not have any amusement parks that can rival Disneyland, but it has its own version of an entertaining tour. Movie buffs and couch potatoes will surely love to visit the Weta Cave mini museum. This is where you will know the secrets to most movie stunts and stills, and other similar tidbits of knowledge. Since this is where the Lord of the Rings were mostly shoot, it is not surprising to note that there is a Lord of the Rings location tour in the heart of the city.

The Wellington zoo shelters over one hundred different animals. Here you can have fun interacting with the chimps and other creatures. If you are also into beautiful blooms, then you must give the Botanic gardens a visit.
